Promise- Week 2
I have been
sworn to secrecy pertaining to certain things that happened Saturday morning by
Bonnet and Isee. I can say that they got into a fight and that Mom would not
have found out except that Ever ran in and told on them. I was outside with them
egging them on, when Mom can running out and broke up the fight. Isee was really getting Bonnet back for the last time they got mad at each other. What a
disappointment! Boy was Dad upset when he found out. Mom is not allowed to know what started the
fight at all. She just knows that Bonnet has 2 holes in her and that Isee does not even have a scratch, which is the opposite of last time this happened. Later that day, Dad took Isee into our room and I heard all kinds of noise. I was busy outside getting into trouble again, so I really did not care. When she came out she had a lot less hair and smelled way different! I don't know what he did to her, but I hope it does not happen very often. I liked the way she smelled before, it was very doggy. This new smell is yucky and she gets cold at night now without all that hair. I guess I will never understand our parents. In the evening, Mom discovered
that some of my teeth were starting come in and I had lost 4 of my front baby
teeth. She decided to reward me for my good behavior and gave everyone these long thin bones that were really yummy! Mom calls the bully sticks, but all I know is they taste really great and I still have most of mine and every one else wants it! I am not sharing except with Dad and Mom.
On Monday, Isee and Ever got to go to that stupid thing they call Obedience Class again. Isee told me after class that she had a wonderful surprise and got to work with Mom where every other class, she was working with Dad. Ever was disappointed and has been trying all week to impress Mom so that he can work with her next week, I am not sure if he is succeeding or not, but he is making a fool of himself for sure! All I have to do is be cute and Dad and Mom pay attention to me!
Thursday, Mom started teaching me a trick that I feel I already know. She is teaching me to give High Fives. It is so easy. I just have to touch her hand with my paw before she will pet me. I have been really good at this since I was an itty bitty puppy, so it is very easy for me. She is trying to teach my siblings, but they just don't get it the way I do! I am too smart! Later that night, something started making a lot of noise outside. It was raining pretty hard and on occasion, the whole outside would light up quickly and go dark again. The noise was very loud. Ready started shaking and crying the minute the noise started. Bonnet, who sleeps next to Ready, was getting upset because of his noise. She likes things to be a specific way and gets mad if they change, unless the change is in her favor. After one really loud noise, Mom came and took Ready and Bonnet away. When she came out to say "Good morning" to us later, she did bring them back. When Dad came in to feed us, he brought them back with him. I was hoping they werer gone for good because it would mean more individual time just for me! Bonnet said she was sleeping with Dad and Mom in their pen. I can't wait for Dad and Mom to let me do that. There must be lots of stuff I can get into while they are sleeping!
On Friday, Dad got out those noisy tools again and took the hair off my neck and rear again. I started to throw a fit so he would stop, but Mom came in and insisted I stand still. I only stood still because she asked me to! Bonnet said that means I will be going to another Dog Show soon. She is jealous because I look so much cuter when they do that to me.
